The second issue is not bothering so much, but I really cannot continue with the mouse going invisible and there is no trend to it. if I use "switch user", the primary screen (iMac) goes blank - which has the login credential input window, and the secondary window (Dell) has the login background blue colour.Ĭan anybody help me with this please? I suspect it is an issue with the old graphics card (I have contrib and non free on my sources.list). I can see it is moving with my physical mouse movement as different links highlight when the invisible mouse is on them, etc.Ģ. on most logins, after some time (different everytime), the mouse icon goes invisible. I am not using nomodest, removed "quiet splash" from grub.Ġ1:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. When installing via iso, I had a secondary Dell monitor connected to the iMac. I started Live Debian session and installed the OS (by erasing mac OS completely). I had an old mid 2010 21.5" iMac at home on which I have installed Debian 11 via iso on the usb. I am new to Debian (but have used Ubuntu). ![]()
